Wilton Lights Empty Wilton Lights

Post by Shane Tue Jan 18, 2011 11:01 am

Part of the holidays at my parent's house is to run down to this house, sit in the car and watch the show. This isn't an official video but one shot by somebody watching the show just like we do.

And here's what happens when you turn on all those lights....

I didn't think his meter changed at all, and I couldn't understand what he said prior to 'didn't you' either. Sad

Nice light show though. Is that the christmas 2010 ones? Not very traditionally festive music.

Yes that was 2010's show. You can tell because they add something new each year. This year it was the 4 1/2 loops. No they don't play very traditional music, some times they do. The show is a little different every night and lasts about 25 minutes, so you are only seeing a little bit of it.

I have no idea what he said either. Rolling Eyes But if you watch that spinning thing below the meter, you'll see a black line, then after the countdown, you'll see it a lot more often. Laughing Here during normal use, you can clearly see the little marks on that dial, with all 10,000 lights on you see the blur.

That is an ad by the people who do that at their house every year. It merely says if you enjoy the show and feel the need to pay something they accept donations for the local food pantry. The family who does it won't take any money for themselves. They raised just over $600 in 2010 which will help quite a few people who need it badly in that area.
